Re: HPUX to Linux problems

How do I check the duplex settings? (Even on an HP?) Linux is supposed
to auto-negotiate, but I don't know how to tell what was negotiated.
Do you know how to specify the connection (no auto-negotiation?) in
Linux? I'm afraid I'm a novice at this, but I don't know how else to
get started...

There don't appear to be dropped/retransmitted packets, but the Linux
box shows many errors on the ethernet port. dmesg give a stream of
errors:
eth0: Transmit error, Tx status register 82.
